My business is starting to get bigger, but it suffers from some setbacks in terms of how it is organized. It is basically just a business consisting of myself, and I need better services to take this to the next level. I have need of a virtual office. To that end I have been reading http://www.voffice.com.sg that is a site that offers virtual offices in Singapore. That is right up my alley and I have been trying to read more about the services they offer. One of the real important things for me, is that we have a VPN for the company to run on, in order to improve the security. I did not know much about them until recently.
But I have been doing a good bit of research on the subject, and I wrote up a summary of what i found out about them I think that they would really help our company in a number of ways and in particular, benefiting from the functionality, security and management policies of the private network. A VPN is created by establishing a virtual point-to-point connection through the use of dedicated connections, virtual tunneling protocols, or traffic encryptions. I read that some of the major implementations of VPNs include OpenVPN and IPsec. A VPN connection across the Internet is similar to a wide area network link between websites. From a user perspective, the extended network resources are accessed in the same way as resources available within the private network. One major limitation of traditional VPNs is that they are point-to-point, and do not tend to support or connect broadcast domains. So we are definitely going to need one of those, but we will also need other services for the virtual office as well, and I understand that this site does offer a wide range of services for their customers.
