Everyone has said it, but to me, even more difficult than making the "talking head" interesting is being able to go nonstop without a cut and no mess ups, no scratching of the nose, or any other natural fidgeting. You did well my friend. You even verged in a couple spots on sort of a Mel Gibson Lethal Weapon sort of tirade about the cancer. Excellent work for such a simple idea. Eric
Well done. Agreed a talking head can be a difficult thing to pull off but you do it with a quiet and believable intensity. I think the great part of your vid is that so often the first person narrative chews the fat, your short looks as if your character would have genuinely made this with no pretense. A very hard thing to pull off.
I've got to say, making four minutes of a talking head interesting is a tall f'ing order. But the acting was downright captivating. Kudos, and well done.
Well done. Bravo. Really great. It's a long shot to make a character captivate an audience with jsut a webcam. But the acting holds ur attention, the words leave you wanting more, and the over all theatrics and dynamics of the character leave you thirsting for this webcam man to make more, to share his story with the world, one devastating story at a time. The thoughts, the tears, the questions, the fears....great just great.
This is a quiet yet captivating character. I would like to see more of his story - what happens to him now. What happened before . . . As previous posters have said - it is hard to care about a talking head too much, but I do care about this one.
